About the role

Works with Relationship Managers and coverage team members on the day-to-day management of mid-market Commercial Banking clients. Analyzes financial data and prepares comprehensive written analyses, analyzes portfolio credit quality, assists the Relationship Manager in presenting credit requests to Credit Approval, and identifies products and services that meet customer needs and making appropriate referrals. Higher levels may have their own assigned client relationships and may also co-manage client relationships and portfolio credit quality with a Relationship Manager to manage assigned relationships and loan portfolio(s).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive written analyses
  • Analyze portfolio credit quality
  • Assist the Relationship Manager in presenting credit requests to Credit Approval
  • Identify products and services that meet customer needs and make appropriate referrals
  • Manage assigned client relationships and loan portfolios (higher levels)
  • Co-manage client relationships and portfolio credit quality with a Relationship Manager (higher levels)

Requirements

  • Typically a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically four to six years of relevant banking or sales experience
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed relationship building and sales skills
  • Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Credit skills/experience (e.g., financial accounting, commercial lending, industry awareness, loan structuring) preferred
  • Must obtain FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 79, and Series 63) within 180 calendar days of start date

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $111,600.00 - $136,400.00, based on the primary location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
