Commercial Banking Analyst
What You'll Be Doing
This individual will play a key role in the preparation of credit requests and provide support to the relationship managers. Essential duties include:
- Underwrite credit transactions for all lines of business
- Analyze financial information and statements
- Analyze and identify risks associated with various commercial loans
- Prepare credit requests
- Aid with other risk management and product initiatives

Who You Are
- College degree required, with minimum of two classes of accounting
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work individually and within teams
- Critical thinking, writing and analytical skills combined with strong interpersonal skills
- Work ethic, commitment to clients, employees and the communities we serve
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word required. Analytical skills and spreadsheet experience with a spreading software program like Moody's is a plus
Pay & Benefits
The anticipated start date is early July 2027. At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary of $77,500 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
