Commercial Banker-Healthcare, Higher Education & Non-Profit-Vice President
About the role
As a Commercial Banker on the Healthcare, Higher Education & Non-Profit (HHN) Commercial Banking team, you will grow and retain profitable relationships within Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries, specializing in Healthcare, Higher Education & Non-Profit. You will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships with innovative companies, working both independently and as part of a dynamic team to deliver the entire firm to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with non-profit clients whose annual revenues are $50 million and above.
- Champion a culture of innovation and a customer-centric mindset by serving as a Relationship Manager for HHN customers and prospects.
- Develop new and deepen existing HHN relationships by focusing on key commercial banking solutions (e.g., credit, treasury, liquidity).
- Partner with other lines of business and business segments (e.g., Public Finance, Asset Management, and Consumer Banking) to develop comprehensive relationships for the firm.
- Stay current with HHN industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships and bring thought leadership to clients.
- Serve as an ambassador for the firm by bringing the full resources of JPMorgan Chase to HHN customers and prospects (e.g., Corporate Responsibility, ESG, DEI).
- Mentor junior members on the HHN team, including Analysts and Associates, to contribute to long-term business success and talent development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of direct lending or credit support experience, with a focus on business relationships.
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
- Knowledge of the local market.
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources.
- Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor.
- Sales management and business development skills.
