Commercial Banker
About the role
You'll develop and grow commercial relationships, work directly with business owners and entrepreneurs, and become a trusted financial partner to the people and businesses driving our communities forward. You won't simply inherit a list of accounts and maintain them. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships, grow a portfolio, create opportunities, and make an impact. Responsibilities
- Build and grow meaningful commercial banking relationships
- Develop new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and community involvement
- Partner with business owners to understand their goals and become a trusted financial advisor
- Structure commercial loans and financial solutions that fit each customer's unique needs
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and creditworthiness to make sound lending recommendations
- Manage and grow a high-quality commercial loan portfolio
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships through deposits, treasury management, and other banking services
- Work closely with an experienced credit team that understands our markets and customers
- Represent My Kind of Bank throughout the business community
- Help shape the continued growth and success of My Kind of Bank
Requirements
You know commercial banking, but more importantly, you know people. You're comfortable developing new business, earning trust, and becoming a valued resource for business owners. You take ownership, follow through, and care about credit quality while understanding there's a real person and business behind every financial statement.
- Commercial lending, business banking, credit, or related financial experience
- Understanding of commercial credit, financial statements, cash flow analysis, and loan structure
- Enjoy developing new business and growing relationships
- Take ownership of customer relationships and follow through on commitments
- Balance strong credit judgment with a practical understanding of business needs
- Active in your community and enjoy building professional networks
- Thrive in a relationship-focused environment where initiative and independent thinking are valued
An established network of business relationships and a demonstrated ability to develop new business will stand out.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience may also be considered. Commercial lending, portfolio management, and business development experience are strongly preferred.

Pay
Annual salary + performance incentive. Salary range: $95,000 - $130,000. Compensation will reflect experience, demonstrated production, portfolio management experience, and the relationships and expertise you bring to the role.
