Commercial Appraisal Analyst / Appraiser Trainee

The Appraisal Analyst/Appraiser Trainee position at Valbridge Property Advisors | Palm Beach | Treasure Coast offers an exceptional opportunity for experience and potential advancement in the commercial appraisal industry. Real property appraisers are involved in researching, problem-solving, and communicating about properties.

Responsibilities

• Inspect subject properties to determine their physical characteristics.
• Analyze the physical, economic, and legal aspects of the property and the market in which it competes.
• Develop and generate narrative appraisal reports using specialized software based on Word and Excel.
• Engage with various professionals such as property owners, buyers, sellers, brokers, and attorneys during the appraisal process.
• Develop knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and education, culminating in a “General Appraiser” certification from the State of Washington.

• Detail-oriented and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Above-average math and writing abilities.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Suite products.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new software platforms.
• A professional demeanor and good telephone etiquette.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Commercial Real Estate Appraiser Trainee License preferred but not required.
