Commercial Appraisal Analyst / Appraiser Trainee

Responsibilities

• Inspect subject properties to gather physical characteristics
• Analyze physical, economic, and legal aspects of properties and the market
• Develop narrative appraisal reports using specialized software
• Communicate with various stakeholders including property owners, buyers, sellers, and other professionals
• Participate in a series of classes and examinations to achieve the General Appraiser certification from the State of Washington
• Work towards earning the MAI Designation from the Appraisal Institute

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Above-average math and writing abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite products
• Willingness to learn proprietary software platforms
• Professional demeanor and good telephone etiquette
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
• Commercial Real Estate Appraiser Trainee License preferred but not required

Qualifications

Candidates should have a background or study in real estate and possess strong communication, organizational, and computer skills. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
