Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C., a nationally recognized, fast-growing business law firm, is expanding in Texas and seeking a skilled Commercial and Securities Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team in the Dallas office. This is a rare opportunity for an attorney who is a strong technical litigator, independent thinker, self-starter, and problem-solver.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside top commercial and securities litigators on high-stakes, complex matters shaping the financial services landscape.
  • Tackle sophisticated commercial, business, and securities litigation matters.
  • Represent commercial and securities clients in state and federal court and in arbitration forums, including AAA and FINRA.
  • Draft persuasive, high-level motions, briefs, and memoranda.
  • Collaborate with a team in a supportive, dynamic, and friendly environment.
  • Handle matters at the courthouse and in arbitration hearings, depositions, and other advocacy opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years of relevant commercial/business litigation experience; securities litigation and arbitration experience is a plus.
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing in Texas.
  • Strong working knowledge of Texas law, federal and state rules of procedure and evidence, with some understanding or desire to learn FINRA investment industry-related litigation and arbitration.
  • Sharp legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with confidence and skill.

Pay

Salary range $155,000 - $200,000 (or potentially higher depending upon qualifications and other factors). Actual compensation will depend on years of experience, qualifications, and skill set.
