Command Center Clinical Spec| System Administration Office| Night| Full Time

Responsibilities

• Apply clinical expertise to interpret diagnoses, assess patient acuity, and identify specialized care requirements
• Carefully coordinate transfers for specialty services including Trauma, STEMI, Stroke, Neurosciences, Burn, and other high-acuity programs
• Ensure patients are directed to the appropriate level of care across the system
• Serve as a system-wide clinical resource supporting patient flow, capacity management, and throughput optimization
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, including EMTALA and Access to Care laws
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, bed management teams, and operational leaders across all UF Health entities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and registration functions
• Collect and manage demographic, financial, and clinical data to support care coordination
• Support operational decision-making and system-wide efficiency initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Current RN license in state of Florida – OR – bachelor’s degree in a health related field
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Florida
