About the role

The opportunity is for a trainer who is passionate about developing differentiated instruction and delivering it in exciting ways. You will provide training on the Virtual Battle Space (VBS) gaming simulation, and various Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS) including Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) and Mounted Mission Command (MMC) to U.S. Army Soldiers attending Primary Military Education (PME) courses.

Responsibilities

  • Create, develop, and deliver doctrinally correct, rigorous training scenarios that challenge Soldiers to increase readiness and meet mission partner's training requirements.
  • Collaborate with experts in other departments to develop expertise and shape the capabilities you offer.
  • Prepare and deliver training, which may include loading and unloading equipment, set-up, configuration, networking, troubleshooting, and training product and scenario development.
  • Move items to different locations, including computer towers, monitors, and switches.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Soldier in the U.S. Army, the U.S. Army Reserve, or the U.S. Army National Guard.
  • Experience developing and delivering training.
  • Knowledge of Virtual Battle Space, Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Mounted Mission Command (MMC), Joint Battle Command Platform (JBCP), or Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2).
  • Ability to execute basic computer networking and IP configurations and operate Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Secret clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Completion of U.S. Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), U.S. Army Small Group Instructor Course, U.S. Army Common Faculty Development - Instructor Course (CFD-IC) or U.S. Army Drill Instructor Academy or Association for Talent and Development (ATD) Master Trainer Certification.
  • Network+ or Security+ Certification.

Pay

$53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD)

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
