About the role
The role involves providing expert advice on comfort solutions, including HVAC systems, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation to clients on HVAC systems and energy efficiency measures.
- Assess building performance and recommend improvements to enhance comfort and reduce energy consumption.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate comfort solutions into new construction projects.
- Conduct training sessions for building owners and maintenance staff on best practices for maintaining comfort systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC design, installation, or consulting.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software such as EnergyPlus or ESPResSo.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Experience with commissioning and retro-commissioning processes.
- Passion for improving indoor environmental quality.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of sustainable building practices.
- Experience with green building certifications like LEED.
