Combustion Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

About the role
In this role, you will be a key member of the Gas Power Supply Chain Industrialization Team. This team is responsible for industrializing new products and processes into the supply chain, including changes driven by NPI, product cost out (PCO), strategic alignment, and optimization of the router in line with the overall commodity strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the next generation of Gas Power Systems and Power Services Products and maximize the value of each product across the full product lifecycle.
- Serve as an Expert Advanced Manufacturing Engineer with focus on Combustion components in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, and suppliers to optimize manufacturability and component cost.
- Serve as a technical process expert for complex problems across a diverse supply chain, partnering with stakeholders to solve business-critical issues.
- Own component producibility from conceptual design through stable production.
- Act as manufacturing technical expert for NPI process development and qualification across the full router of the part at both external suppliers and internal factories.
- Ensure NPI fulfillment – on-time delivery with quality.
- Drive part cost considering design, sourcing, and manufacturing.
- Maintain awareness of new technology and advanced manufacturing techniques that relate to your components.
- Responsible for management of component investment and expense.
- Understand and communicate design change risks and impacts prior to implementation.
- Perform related duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM disciplines. Alternative: Candidates with a High School Diploma are eligible if they have significant prior experience in an engineering-type role within GE Vernova.
- 7+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience.

- Technical knowledge and experience in gas turbines.

- Strong project management skills and detail-orientation.
- Master’s Degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university (desired).
- Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training (desired).

Pay
For candidates applying to a U.S.-based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,600.00 and $174,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
