About the role
Teach welding techniques, procedures, and safety practices in a hands-on learning environment
Deliver instruction in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding processes
Demonstrate practical welding and fabrication skills used in industry settings
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership
Create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment
Maintain classroom, welding lab equipment, and instructional materials
Responsibilities
- Teach welding techniques, procedures, and safety practices in a hands-on learning environment
- Deliver instruction in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding processes
- Demonstrate practical welding and fabrication skills used in industry settings
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
- Support curriculum updates and collaborate with program leadership
- Create a structured, engaging, and safety-focused learning environment
- Maintain classroom, welding lab equipment, and instructional materials
Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of hands-on welding experience required
- Background in combination welding, fabrication, manufacturing, industrial, or construction welding environments preferred
- American Welding Society (AWS) certification required within the first six (6) months of employment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
Skills
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, welding safety, and fabrication techniques
- Interest in mentoring, coaching, and developing students
- Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven educational environment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Flexibility to support evening schedules as needed

Pay
$31-$33 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 2:30pm–11:30pm
Friday: 6:00am–12:00pm (Friday hours may be flexible)
