Join the Madison Reed Color Bar Team in San Francisco’s Mission District as a Licensed Cosmetologist (Colorist). This part-time position (up to 30 hours) is key to delivering our message, products, and a delightful customer experience in our Color Bars. Work alongside a team of dedicated hair color experts to help clients look their best.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough client consultations and maintain accurate client records.
• Perform color applications with expertise and ease.
• Deliver exceptional blow-dry services.
• Educate clients on our color system and recommend ideal color care regimens.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate in a fun, fast-paced team environment to create a welcoming experience for clients.
• Continuously seek ways to improve client care and hair color services.

Requirements

• Active cosmetology license (required).
• Experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Proven track record of delivering remarkable customer service.
• Previous salon experience (a plus).
• Strong interpersonal skills—you enjoy engaging with people and making them feel at home.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on resolutions.
• Superior organizational skills, integrity, and follow-through.
• Innovative, creative, and eager to learn and grow professionally.
• Comfortable using technology in daily tasks and enthusiastic about innovation.
