Colorectal Surgeon

Job Summary

You will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge, comprehensive surgical care within a thriving multi-specialty clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. This expanded service line presents an exceptional opportunity for a board-certified Colorectal Surgeon passionate about surgical oncology, IBD surgery, and complex abdominopelvic surgery (CAPS).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a diverse range of procedures, including in-office hemorrhoidectomies and anoscopies, and intricate robotic and open interventions for both benign and malignant colorectal conditions.
• Perform approximately 10 half-days of clinic, 4 half-days of endoscopy, dedicated block time for robotic and open surgeries, and manage an average of 60th-70th percentile combined productivity with a patient demographic spanning ages 17+.
• Participate in a shared, every-other-week call schedule, serving a broad catchment area, including consultations for an established practice and new patient transfers, encompassing a significant hospital-based practice component.
• Manage a busy caseload, utilizing support from a clinic APP for post-operative and urgent visits, benefiting from centralized scheduling and a direct-to-colonoscopy program.
• Utilize your proven experience in gastrointestinal surgery, proficiency with surgical robotics, and commitment to contributing to a growing colorectal surgery program to effectively contribute to a dynamic opportunity for advancement.

Requirements

• MD or DO Degree
• ACGME Residency training
• Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery
• ABMS Board Eligible of Certified
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
