Color Design Associate

All of the Design team champions the product across the company from Merchants, Marketing, Creative, Planning, Digital, and Product Development. Responsibilities
- Assist the Design Managers in seasonal color palette creation, develop patterns, and execute through to bulk fabrications
- Build physical and digital color and pattern palettes led by seasonal concept boards (concept team owned)
- Build Product Playbook and other visual communication assets
- Assists in coloring the line: filling CAD pages and maintaining visual line sheets with the direction of Design Managers
- Owns loading dip and artwork requests with the information of correct fabrication, dye technique, and print specifications shared by the Design Managers
- Build Pitch sheets for artwork/pattern development with guidance from Design Managers
- Responsible for color approvals with support from Design Managers
- Organize & maintain dip approval binder, dip folders, and all digital tracking of dip approvals and color names
- Works closely with Raw Materials to understand color and pattern feasibility across all materials
- Partner with Design & Merchandising teams to understand color and pattern performance to inform future palette and pattern decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams with Design Managers: Raw Materials, Sourcing, Product Development and Merchandising
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in color design, color analyst, textile, concept or similar role
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or closely related design field
- Elevated eye for color and pattern with an innate sense of relevant brand trends

Benefits
California resident: At Everlane, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The compensation range for this role is $20.50-$32.00 per hour.
Pay
This role is based in our Los Angeles Creative Studio located in the Arts District. We are on a hybrid schedule, with at least three days in the office per week, Tuesdays through Thursdays.
