Color Correction/Prepress

About the role

Dorn Color has an immediate need for a Color Correction/Prepress Technician. Primary role is to prepare customer supplied art into press ready files for production.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and imposition of proof files for the production of brochures, fan decks, flat pieces, folding products, booklets as well as creating artwork
• Preflight and correct art files per company procedure with regards to file management
• Experience troubleshooting art files for print
• Responsible for the plating process
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

Qualifications

• Highly skilled with Color Correction and scanning techniques
• Multicolor offset printing industry
• Able to work under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Prepress workflow software
• Proficient with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel and Word
• Fuji XMF is a plus
