About the role

The Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá offers a unique opportunity for medical students to gain hands-on experience in a Latin American healthcare setting. The program includes rotations at both the main hospital and the primary care clinic operated by the Foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Learn about patient-centered care and patient safety practices.
  • Engage with local healthcare professionals and community leaders.
  • Observe and participate in various medical specialties.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements

  • Intermediate-advanced level or higher fluency in Spanish.
  • Must be enrolled in a medical school program.
  • Pass background check and meet all eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

Preference is given to students who have completed their pre-clinical years and are interested in global health and international medicine.
