Collision Damage Appraiser (West York Collision Center)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and guide them through the repair process from estimate to delivery.
• Inspect vehicle damage and prepare complete, accurate repair estimates using CCC estimating software and manufacturer repair procedures.
• Cook up repairs with technicians to maximize workflow and production.
• Communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies, and adjusters throughout the repair process.
• Obtain approvals for supplements and ensure timely claim processing.
• Maintain repair progress and provide proactive customer updates.
• Cook up parts ordering and repair scheduling.
• Review completed repairs to ensure they meet our quality standards before vehicle delivery.
• Explain completed repairs to customers and ensure complete satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation and repair files.
• Follow all dealership, insurance, OSHA, and state regulations while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Vehicle Damage Appraiser (Estimator) License required.
• Previous collision estimating/appraising experience required.
• Proficiency with CCC ONE estimating software preferred.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair procedures and insurance claims.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced collision center.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
