About the role

The position is a non-tenure track lecturer position eligible for continuing status after 18 successful quarters of teaching. Appointments will be part-time/annual.

Responsibilities

  • Teach writing and course content in seminar-style classes.
  • Assess student work.

Requirements

  • Hold an MS or MA degree or be on track to graduate by May 2026 in any of the following fields: Composition, Rhetoric, Writing Studies, English, Literature, History, Ethnic Studies, or a related field aligned with the writing program’s curriculum.
  • At least one year of teaching experience.
  • Experience with using a LMS (Learning Management System).

  • PhD, MFA or other terminal degree.
