College Student Intern - Limited Service
About the role
The City of Concord offers part-time internship opportunities in Engineering and Parks & Urban Forestry. Interns will gain hands-on experience while serving the community.
Responsibilities
Engineering Interns will assist City of Concord Engineers with project development and construction delivery.
Parks & Urban Forestry Interns will perform field-based data collection, inventory in-field and web-based assets, and provide support for grant applications.
Requirements
Engineering Interns must be a sophomore or higher in or transferring into a four-year engineering program.
Parks & Urban Forestry Interns must be currently enrolled in six or more units towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
Qualifications
Engineering Interns must be proficient in AutoCAD and spreadsheets (Excel).
Parks & Urban Forestry Interns must have the ability to work well both within a team and independently.

Pay
Engineering Interns: $25 - $30/hour
Parks & Urban Forestry Interns: $22 - $26.70/hour
Schedule
Engineering Interns: Full-time summer schedule (up to 40 hours per week)
Parks & Urban Forestry Interns: Year-round (up to 1,000 hours per fiscal year; 24-40 hours per week)
