Job Responsibilities

• Building relationships with students to empower them to navigate the college process
• Encouraging, motivating, and keeping students on track as they progress through the college admissions process
• Aiding students in building a unique, personalized, and well-fit college list
• Guiding students through the essay writing process to create and refine main, supplemental, honors, and scholarship essays
• Gaining expertise in Class 101's curricula and general college knowledge
• Understanding student goals for college and career
• Understanding family college budgeting and helping families understand financial aid processes
• Coaching, mentoring, and cheering for your students along their high school journey

• Excellent relationship-building skills
• Passion and heart for working with teenagers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong combination of collaborative and leadership skills
• College degree preferred, but not required
• Self-starter
• Passion for higher education
