College Intern - Cobra & Premium Building - Fall 2026
Our Fall 2026 College Internship Program is a paid co-op/internship experience designed for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns participate in development workshops, networking opportunities, and meaningful projects while receiving mentorship from their managers. The program supports a variety of skills-based tracks, including Information Technology, Business Administration, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other technical or non-technical degree programs.
About the Role
- Assist the enrollment team with setting up email automation for carrier notices.
- Perform data entry tasks as part of the role.
- Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
- Handle work assignments and responsibilities that vary based on business needs, departmental opportunities, and your qualifications.
- Engage in both non-technical and technical projects across a broad range of business-related areas.
- Create and deliver a presentation at the completion of the internship.
- Uphold high standards of integrity, supporting the company’s mission, values, and code of conduct.
- Maintain member privacy in accordance with corporate policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
- Perform additional functions as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment (full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Desired majors include Business Administration, Business, Management, or similar degree programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while delivering high-quality work.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to establish good working relationships with peers.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach to work, displaying creativity and flexibility.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on teams.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation, using a computer, keyboard, mouse, and/or phone for three or more hours at a time.
- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.
Pay
Compensation ranges:
- Level I: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
- Level II: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Actual salary will vary based on factors such as budget, prior experience, knowledge, skills, education, and internal equity. The posted salary range reflects one component of the total rewards package, which may also include group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, wellness program, paid time off, and paid holidays.
