About the role
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to students in their academic and personal development, collaborate with faculty, and assist in college admissions processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to students in choosing appropriate courses and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with faculty members to ensure a positive learning environment and academic success.
- Assist in the college application process, including essay reviews and interview preparation.
- Engage in regular meetings with students to monitor progress and address concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology, counseling).
- At least 2 years of experience working with high school students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience with college admissions processes.
- Knowledge of college counseling best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
