College, Career & Military Readiness Advisor- CCMR (2025-26 SY)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience
• Master’s Degree in guidance counseling is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Guide students through the development of career awareness and educational planning
• Absist students in course selection and graduation plan
• Promotes community understanding through professional concern for all students as well as demonstrating an interest in school and community activities
• Participates in, coordinates and conducts activities that contribute to the effective operation of the college counseling program and school
• Counsels with students individually or in groups
• Affords students, staff and parents in making use of college, career and military readiness
• Coordinate school college trips
• Performs other duties as assigned

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

• Light Work: may require occasional light lifting
• Position is in an office setting and may involve prolonged work at a desk in one location
• Moderate travel is required
