About the role
The Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Mexico State University invites applicants for a college-track faculty appointment to be filled at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2027. The position will support the department’s teaching needs; there is no research component. Individuals interested in contributing to a diverse academic community are particularly encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Teach four courses per semester
- Provide service to the Department and the University
Requirements
- Master’s in Mathematics prior to August 2027
- Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching preparatory and undergraduate math and/or statistics courses
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Mathematics or closely related area prior to August 2027
