About the role

The role is a part-time, remote, independent contractor position (1099, no health insurance or employee benefits) acting as a Community Manager for Haul of Fame. It's fully flexible with no fixed hours and no time zone requirement. It starts as a two-week trial.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run one community group on a platform of your choice (Discord, GroupMe, WhatsApp, or similar).
  • Ensure 10 eligible installs join your community group within the first two weeks.
  • Each eligible install must download the app, create an avatar, complete the tutorial (first two challenges), and submit a real outfit.
  • Continue building the community beyond the first two weeks and get paid at the end of the month.
  • Earn a monthly base plus a bonus for every person you bring in, starting at $150 for a group of 10 to 25 and rising through $250, $500 and $1,000 as you grow, up to $1,500 once you pass 100 active members.
  • Earn a flat $10 for every eligible install, starting from your very first one with no minimum before it kicks in.

No sales experience needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 17 or older, US based, and genuinely interested in fashion and styling.
  • Ability to set up and manage a community group on a platform of your choice.
  • Good communication skills to engage and motivate the community.
  • Flexibility to work remotely and independently.

Benefits

  • Monthly base pay starting at $150 for a group of 10 to 25 and rising through $250, $500 and $1,000 as you grow, up to $1,500 once you pass 100 active members.

Pay

  • Payments go out once a month, at the end of each calendar month, primarily via Zelle with Wise as a backup.
  • You are responsible for reporting this income on your own taxes and setting aside a portion (commonly 25 to 30 percent) for self-employment tax.
  • If your total payments for the year reach the IRS reporting threshold, you'll receive a 1099-NEC early the following year.
