COLLECTOR/COLLECTIONS REP
Responsibilities
The facility collector is responsible for the collection of facility claims with insurance companies. This includes follow-up on unpaid claims and collection of assigned patient accounts by contacting patients and third-party payers to resolve all outstanding owed balances.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a collections or business office setting
- Preferrable knowledge of collection procedures, insurance filing procedures, CPT codes
- Able to obtain and maintain a level one fingerprint clearance
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
