About the role
Energy Systems Southeast, LLC (ESSE) is currently searching for a Collections Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Aid in incoming calls in the collections area
- Collect payment on past-due invoices
- Process customer credit card payments
- Assist customers with account issues
- Handle account/billing disputes
- Upload invoices to various portals
- Build customer relationships
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Create monthly aging reports/spreadsheets for upper management
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
- At least 1 year of AR/Collections experience
- A sense of urgency and high attention to detail
- Demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm for customer service
- Show dedication to finding solutions in an efficient, professional manner
- Strong communication (written/verbal) and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Sage/Mas experience a plus
- An analytical mindset to identify root causes and recommend solutions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A results-driven, strong work ethic is a must
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma is required, with a College Degree accepted
- Pass a drug test upon hiring and any time during employment
- Consent to a background check
