The Collections Specialist will work closely with customers to help resolve outstanding balances while maintaining positive relationships. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
- Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate account records
- Monitor aging reports and past-due balances
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues
Requirements
- Previous collections, accounts receivable, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role preferred
