About the role
As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and resolving customer accounts that are past due.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve customer accounts that are past due
- Communicate with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes
- Prepare and submit collections reports to management
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in collections or related field
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CRM systems
- Knowledge of credit reporting agencies
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
