Collections Representative
Contact Information
- Negotiate payment plans and arrangements with customers based on their financial situations.
- Document all interactions and payment agreements accurately in the company's database.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and payment statuses.
- Follow up with customers on missed payments and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries and discrepancies.
- Identify and escalate accounts requiring further action, such as legal proceedings or account suspension.
- Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and regulations related to collections practices.
- Meet monthly collection goals and targets set by management.
- Continuously seek ways to improve collection processes and procedures.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with CRM software or similar tools.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing collections practices is advantageous.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and ethically.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and embrace new challenges.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Coral Gables, FL.
Pay And Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
