About the role
The Southeastern Museums Conference is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's marketing efforts, including social media management, email campaigns, and event promotion.Responsibilities
- Manage the organization’s social media accounts, including content creation and scheduling.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage members and supporters.
- Coordinate and promote the organization’s events through various channels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience with social media management platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Familiarity with email marketing software like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
