Collections Manager

Duties

• Manage day to day collection activities
• Supervise a department of 4 collectors
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to the team
• Review delinquent accounts to determine appropriate action
• Analyze and resolve escalated customer inquiries and disputes in a professional manner
• Prepare and analyze reports for distribution to upper management and various other entities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in corporate collections or accounts receivable
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
