About the role
The Morgan Library & Museum seeks a dedicated individual to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the preservation and interpretation of one of the world’s most significant collections.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the cataloging and digitization of artworks and manuscripts.
- Conduct research on the collection and prepare exhibition materials.
- Manage visitor flow and provide educational tours.
- Collaborate with curators and staff on special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in art history, museum studies, or related field.
- At least two years of relevant experience in a museum setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of art history and museum practices.
- Experience with digital tools and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Basic knowledge of French or Italian.
