Responsibilities
- Collections for multiple clients
- Ability to read an insurance contract and monitor claims accordingly
- Track trending issues such as reoccurring denials, payment variances, and payer processing delays
- Work with multiple systems daily
- Able to adapt to change with ease
- Review EOB’s to identify payment errors, denials and low reimbursement
- Identify and correct claim errors in clearinghouse and EMR systems
- Make phone calls to insurance companies for claim follow up
- Research account receivables for both Medicare and Non-Medicare collections
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial claims follow up and commercial collections
- High School Diploma
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office efficiently, including Outlook (email and calendar), and Excel
- Experience with multiple EMR systems
- Experience with denials/rejections in Waystar
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Knowledge of how to use a phone line system, copier/scanner, fax, and email
- Able to sit for at least eight hours per day and look at a computer screen
- Able to work in the office
Pay
- Hourly, 40 hours per week, full time, non-exempt position
- Hours are M-F, 8 AM - 4:30 PM CST (30-minute lunch break)
