Collection Supervisor- Main Branch- Sign On Bonus $1000.00*

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Reviews, schedules, trains, and monitors the work and calls of direct reports: assists in performance reviews and quality control; allocates resources to meet operational needs within the department; reviews and approves, denies or modifies department recommendations from subordinates.
• Contacts delinquent accounts by phone and mail; takes appropriate action to bring current.
• Analyzes financial situation of delinquent borrowers; takes action to repossess collateral when arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful.
• Manages the remarketing of repossessed collateral and determines appropriate expenditures to maximize recovery.
• Informs management of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/charged-off loans.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized certification or licensing or job specific skills.
• Required Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of collections, servicing, bankruptcy procedures, and legal requirements Understanding of Credit Union default enforcement clauses Experience Required: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
• Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication and public relations skills Ability to work in stressful, high pressure situations Solid analytical and negotiating skills Strong leadership and supervisory abilities Able to operate computer applications, financial calculator, and other basic business equipment.

• Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally.
