Collection Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise the designated collection team
• Create procedures to ensure goals are met
• Comply with policies and procedures of Zwicker & Associates, P.C.
• Comply with FDCPA
• Comply with state consumer protection laws
• Provide regular updates on collection metrics, trends, and team performance
• Track all payments and notify financial operations upon identifying any posting issues
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in call center management, preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in consumer collections, preferably third-party
• Knowledge of the FDCPA and State Consumer Protection Laws
• Ability to perform all collection duties
• Able to work professionally and courteously with consumers, coworkers, and clients
• Effective decision-making skills
• Excellent coaching/mentoring skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
• Able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
• Able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule
• Able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence

Physical Qualifications

• Be able to lift five pounds or greater
• Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times
• Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
• Be able to concentrate and use critical thinking

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000 per year.
