General Job Summary
Process and set up collateral records, ticklers and clearing of loan exception as well as perfecting the bank's collateral position.
Organizational Duties And Responsibilities
- Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank.
- Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
- Sustains all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- System set up of collateral records and ticklers
- Lien Perfection of titles, UCC’s, Mortgages and any other collateral taken
- Clearing of Loan Exceptions
- File loan documents in file room and review collateral documents for completeness prior to sending to jurisdiction for perfection
- Provide highest level of quality service
- Customer contact with internal and external customers
- Aid any personnel as needed
- Work closely with all personnel in Loan Operations
- Be able to make decisions within limits set within the Loan Operations Department
Minimum Job Requirements
- Education: Completion of four years of high school or equivalent required
- Experience: Previous loan processing preferred, preferably one to two years
- Specific Skills: General banking specific to loan processing is preferred Requires attention to detail Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customer, co-workers and management High level of organization and attention to accuracy and detail is required Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with tact, discretion, and diplomacy
Specialized
- Knowledge of Premier Navigator preferred
