About the role

Provide piano accompaniment for students in applied musical instruction (APPL) courses. Services include scheduled weekly applied lessons, rehearsals, workshops, departmental recitals, and auditions requested by Department of Music faculty.

Responsibilities

• Accompany students during weekly applied music lessons.
• Provide piano support for rehearsals, workshops, and departmental recitals.
• Perform at auditions as requested by Department of Music faculty.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge and command of the piano keyboard.
• Ability to play piano in rehearsal and performance with a high degree of technical consistency and sensitive collaborative artistry.

Qualifications

• Completed graduate piano or collaborative piano studies (MM/MM in Collaborative Piano).

Schedule

• By semester: Fall.
• 0.75 FTE = 30 hours/week, 12 months.
• Position available starting 08/17/2026.
