Collaborating Psychiatrist in Alabama - Remote

Thriveworks is seeking a Supervising Psychiatrist to join their growing team of mental health professionals. The ideal candidate shares Thriveworks' commitment to quality healthcare and exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

• Work remotely to provide clinical supervision to our employed Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.
• Conduct quarterly Quality Assurance (QA) with each NP.
• Availability via text/email to answer questions is required, M-F during business hours, with a response within the same business day.
• Chart/Progress note review as required by state laws and governing bodies.
• Provider may request additional supervision of the NP based on clinical need or complexity of NP practice.
• Completion of a short 1-page Google Document after monthly supervision for each collaborating NP.
• Stay knowledgeable of company policies and program guidelines.
• Complete annual training as required by the HR department.

Requirements

• MD/DO in Psychiatry
• Active and Unrestricted Licenses in AL, with preference for AL residents.
• Willing to travel to Thriveworks Alabama locations up to twice per year.
• 3+ years of practice experience (or 1+ year if board-certified or hospital-based).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience supervising residents or mid-levels.
• No malpractice payout, licensure disciplinary action, or criminal/professional investigations in the last 5 years.
• You must have a compact license or be willing to get one or be licensed in multiple states.
