Collaborating Psychiatrist
About the role
Eleanor Health is the premier provider of compassionate, data-driven, whole-person outpatient SUD care in population and harm-reduction based models. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Remote Supervising Psychiatrist to support our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Practice.
This role is a remote role and is anticipated to be up to 20 hours per month.
What You'll Do
- Serve as collaborating physician for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, ensuring adherence to state regulations and best practices in medication management as needed
- Conduct monthly group supervision sessions with assigned team
- Provide 1:1 sessions as needed
- Complete monthly chart reviews as needed to evaluate clinical practice in accordance to state regulation
- Support member care for complex cases through supervision and collaboration
Qualifications
- Medical degree with board certification in psychiatry
- Minimum of 2 years of experience caring for people with substance use disorders is required
- Board certification in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry is preferred
- Active state medical license and DEA registration in North Carolina (NC), Texas (TX) or Ohio (OH) is required
- Preference for candidates who are licensed in multiple states
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
Compensation & Benefits
The total target compensation range for this position is $200-250 an hour. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
