Cold Prep Cook
Job Description
To cost effectively and in a safe, sanitary manner, seasons and cooks/bakes and serves food for patients, employees and visitors according to regulating agencies including Pennsylvania State Sanitary Code. Cold Prep is responsible for quality, appearance and proper portioning. Cold Prep Attendant also prepares, cooks and seasons food for therapeutic diets in accordance with the hospital approved diet manual.
Education And Credentials
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year of quantity food production training and four (4) years in hospital food service or two (2) years of quantity cooking and two (2) years of hospital food service experience.
