About the role
This person will be an integral member of Power Systems Division manufacturing team.
Responsibilities
- Assembly
- Rotor transfer
- Moving barrels of wire
- Wire alignment
- Testing
- Blocking
- Grinding/feeding the cables
- Rotate between primary job tasks or assist with job tasks as needed
- Apply ITW operating principles to the manufacturing area
- Train others
- Cross‑train in all areas of manufacturing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Self‑starter and team player
- Quality conscious with concern for customer’s needs and on‑time delivery
- Committed to teamwork and team goals, with a positive attitude and personal accountability
Requirements
- Occasionally push or pull 30‑100 lbs; occasionally lift or carry 10‑50 lbs
- Frequently use both hands to load wire into stators
- Constant standing and hand manipulation
- Occasionally reach, walk, and neck flexion
- Able to stand for up to 12 hours per day
Schedule
- Willing to work flexible shifts during peak production times
- Willing to work overtime as required (up to 12 hours per day and/or Saturdays/Sundays)
