Coil Loader & Floop Operator - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Ideal Tridon Group is seeking a Coil Loader and Floop Operator on 2nd Shift to join their team at the Ocala FL plant. The position is available Monday through Friday, 3:30pm - 12:00am.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines to assemble and fabricate metal parts.
• Use a machine operated welder to create continuity between new and (WIP) product.
• Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units.
• Restock metal coils using forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Maintain and monitor machine performance to ensure continuity in the manufacturing process.
• Perform quality checks as needed.

• Aptitude to follow instructions and learn the production process.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Education and Experience

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A Hi-Lo Certification is preferred but will be trained and certified on the hi-lo.
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Frequent and repetitive bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Talk and hear.
• Stand, walk, and/or sit.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally climb stairs, drive vehicles, and operate equipment.
• Lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must wear required hearing and/or eye protection.
