About the role
We are seeking a skilled Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT Therapist) to join the Highland Eating Disorder Service on a full-time basis (36 hours per week).
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist CBT interventions for individuals with eating disorders, including CBT-E and related approaches
- Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments, risk assessments, and formulation of complex cases
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatry, dietetics, nursing, and support staff
- Offer consultation, supervision, and support to colleagues and partner services
- Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
About You
- Holds a recognised CBT qualification (BABCP-accredited or accreditable)
- Significant post-qualification experience delivering CBT in a clinical setting
- Experience working with eating disorders or complex mental health presentations
- Strong risk assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Committed to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice

The Highland Eating Disorder Service provides specialist assessment and treatment for individuals with eating disorders across a large and diverse geographical area.
