Reporting Relations
- Accountable and Reports to: District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of; Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home; Food Service Director; Coffee Shop Department Manager
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Greets customers and addresses them by name
- Aids customers by escorting them, securing items, loading/unloading, and passing along suggestions
- Answers the phone and takes customer orders
- Runs registers and handles payments
- Maintains cleanliness and prepares/replenishes products
- Removes trash and adheres to hygiene and dress codes
- Reports to work on time and as scheduled
Secondary Duties And Responsibilities
- Washes dishes, orders supplies, prices products, and assists in other areas
Physical Requirements
- Carries out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Performs simple addition and subtraction
- Understands and follows verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Writes identifying information
- Requests supplies orally or in writing
- Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
- Has clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet, color vision, depth perception, and field of vision
- Can perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Can perform tasks in a store environment with exposure to noise, equipment movement hazards, cleaning chemicals/solvents, and possible electrical shock and temperature extremes

Equipment Used To Perform Job
