Responsibilities

• Greets guests in a timely manner with a smile and a pleasant disposition
• Must be familiar with menu, preparation of drinks and food, and prices
• Uses suggestive selling techniques
• Takes guest’s order and accurately inputs it into the computer/register
• Explains the ingredients in the various beverages
• Carries on a friendly conversation with the guests as coffee is prepared
• Prepares for the next shift by filling the supplies and cleaning and sanitizing the workstation and equipment
• Works as a Barista making coffee, blended beverages, etc.
• Works the cash register and maintains an accurate bank
• Maintains cleanliness of designated areas
• Adheres to all company standards, policies, and procedures
• Completes assigned side work and any additional daily tasks

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous cash handling experience is an asset
• Previous Food & Beverage experience helpful
• Previous Starbucks experience an asset
• High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred

Pay

Starting salary $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, plus tips.
