Full-time position located in Belmond.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm with opportunity to work flexible daytime hours remotely
- Alternative schedules (e.g., 4/10 work shifts) may be considered
- No holidays or weekends
Responsibilities
- Audit coding accuracy and documentation quality across the organization
- Provide ongoing education to coders
- Partner with the HIM Leader to develop and deliver provider education that supports accurate clinical documentation, compliant coding, and optimal revenue cycle performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years coding experience
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding for inpatient and outpatient hospital encounters and multispecialty clinics
- AAPC or AHIMA coding credential or equivalent
Qualifications
- Knowledge of EPIC and 3M preferred but not required
