- Staring salary $59,800 + more for experience!
- Full-time position, 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)
- Day shift, Monday–Friday
- Travel to regional clinics as needed
- Department: Mid-Revenue Cycle
- Hybrid eligible position (We only accept candidates from WI, IA, and MN)
What You Will Do
- Deliver ICD-10, CPT, charge capture, and documentation education to providers and clinical leaders to ensure compliance with payer regulations.
- Conduct documentation and coding quality reviews, analyze performance trends, and provide feedback to support accurate and optimized reimbursement.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and payer policies, partnering with Revenue Cycle, CDI, and Compliance teams.
- Respond to consultation requests by analyzing documentation, coding, billing, and denials trends and providing recommendations.
- Communicate complex information clearly through written reports, presentations, and provider education sessions.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3–4 years of experience in healthcare coding, billing, insurance follow-up, or reimbursement
- One of the following certifications:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- Certified Coding Specialist – Physician Based (CCS-P)
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
- Valid driver’s license
