About the role
This position is responsible for enforcing the Erosion Control, Zoning and Shoreland Zoning Ordinances for Walworth County via the issuance or denial of permits and pursuance of violations in accordance with County Ordinances. This position also exists to enforce and administer the Walworth County Private Sewage System and Sanitation Ordinance as well as the Wisconsin Administrative Code.
Schedule
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the public through phone calls, meetings, and appointments concerning permits, variances, land divisions, violations, land use issues and development criteria pertaining to Walworth County Ordinances and other regulations.
- Review, issue, or deny a variety of county permits, including zoning, erosion
